Youth Programs
Akron-UMADAOP, Inc. offers programs designed for youth from six to seventeen years of age. The programs provide education, awareness and early intervention techniques to youth, assisting them in making better life choices. In addition, youth are provided with personal development, leadership skills, training and recreational events.

Kids With A Vision – This group’s purpose is to provide adolescents, six to twelve years of age, with a culturally enriched supportive, disciplined, educational and fun environment, which focus on self-development, positive self-esteem, positive self-image, and alcohol and drug prevention activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, tutorial services, computer learning, field trips and other activities designed to create positive thinking and development.
This group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays – 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Teens on the Move - This group’s purpose is to provide teens, thirteen to seventeen years of age, with a culturally enriched supportive, disciplined, educational and fun environment, which focus on student development of academic, social skills, self-development, positive self-esteem, positive self-image, and alcohol and drug prevention activities.
These activities include, but are not limited to, tutorial services, computer learning, field trips and other activities designed to create positive thinking and development. |
